Gabrielle Bernstein said, “Allow your passion to become your purpose, and it will one day become your profession.” Our passion is an intense desire and gives origin to an intense emotion within us for something. The profession is the development of a skill that will facilitate us to earn money and stand in front of this gigantic and competitive world.
But can our passion be our profession? Can we train ourselves so our intense aspiration becomes a skill set toward accomplishment required to stand in front of this world? People say that when passion and profession coagulate together miracles like Steve Jobs, GM Rao and Bill Gates happens. But to make our passion our profession we don’t only need that burning blaze within us but also some research on our passion.
We must ask ourselves if our passion can give bliss to others as well. Passion is something we want to live for but the profession is something that will help us in making an existing. As said by Steve job’s biographer, Walter Isaacson, “The important point is to not just follow your passion but something larger than yourself. It isn’t just about you and your damn passion.”
Our passion matters a lot but a smart choice to the profession is more obliging in making our life cheerful and prolific.
